New NFAP entered into force in Serbia

On 13th of February 2024, new Radio Frequency Bands Purpose Plan came into force in Serbia, following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Rs, No. 9/24 on the 5th of February 2024.

The radio frequency bands purpose plan sets out the purposes of radio frequency bands for individual radio communication services, in accordance with the international Radio Communications Regulations, relevant international treaties, agreements, international legal acts and recommendations, as well as the relevant Regulations of the European Union.

As a result, the Regulation establishing the Radio Frequency Band Allocation Plan ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No 89/20) has ceased to apply.

It is a kind reminder that all RF and Telecom equipment are subject to mandatory type approval requirements in Serbia, alongside mandatory labelling requirements.
