On 18th February 2025, the DJID of Indonesia issued a new Minister Decree No. 45 from 2025 that stipulates technical requirements for 2G and 3G mobile telecommunication equipment.
The new technical standard provides additional allocations for each designated equipment type, namely for base stations, subscriber stations and repeater mobile communication devices.
The new technical regulation will come into effect on the 18th of August 2025 and can be found in Indonesia language here.
