SDPI and KOMINFO of Indonesia change their names.

On 21st January 2025, SDPPI of Indonesia issued an announcement stating that there has been a merger between the Directorate General of Postal and Informatics Resources and Equipment (SDPPI) and the Directorate of PPI (Directorate of Post and Informatics), eliciting to a formation of the streamlined institution under a new name of the Directorate General of Digital Infrastructure (DJID) on the 20th January 2025.

Going forward, the DJID will be overseeing equipment certification, licensing, and regulatory compliance.

In addition to this change, the Ministry of Communication and Digital that organizes government affairs in the field of communication and information, has also changed the name and is now called Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (KOMDIGI), instead of Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (KOMINFO).

Due to the name changes, all certificates issued from 20th January 2025, will reflect following changes on the certificates:

-new logo;

-revised certificate numbering;

-updated QR code.

This change does not affect any certificates issued before 20th of January 2025, meaning old labelling can remain as is.

Examples of new logos for each institution can be provided upon request.
